Small groups offer a dynamic missing in one on one meetings.  The energy and stimulating exchange of ideas makes small groups a great place to grow personally.  Lighthouse is offering three small groups this winter session to provide Biblical perspectives on a variety of topics. Our current small groups are for women and are led by Debbie Wilson.

About this class: This class is designed to help us address the root causes of the problems we face everyday. The practical assignments help you apply Biblical principles as you interact with God. This class if for those who:

• struggle with emotional or relational issues
• want to experience freedom from destructive behaviors
• desire a more intimate relationship with God
• are tired of living a performance based life
• desire to experience more victory and consistency in their Christian life
• desire to minister more effectively to hurting people

This class will be kept small so we can go as deep as the participants wish.

About the Class: If you think Jesus came from a line of respectable, pedigreed, blue bloods, then you will be surprised. This study explores the lives of the five women listed in Jesus’ genealogy as recorded in Matthew.  One was a professional prostitute, two others were involved in sexual scandal, two came from pagan cultures and another was falsely accused of immoral behavior. Each of them faced incredible hardship.

Do you find yourself praying for smooth sailing or an easy life?  Then perhaps, like me, you will be challenged to change your prayer to one of becoming a stronger person. We will look at the challenge to forgive, to start fresh, to persevere, and to live bold faith. Radically Obedient, The Joshua Study by Aliene Thompson

About the Class: This study covers the life of Joshua and reminds us that radical obedience is not about religion, but a relationship with God. From the passing of the baton from Moses to Joshua to the conquering and settling of the Promised Land this study takes us through the exciting book of Joshua and the many lessons we can apply on learning to claim our own promised new identity in Christ. This study is led by Debbie Wilson.
