“Your Invitation to a Better Life: Lessons from Women Named in Jesus’ Geneology” by Debbie Wilson
Too often we focus on wanting God to make life easy, when what we need is to grow stronger. None of the women named in Jesus’ genealogy had an easy life. Yet their stories provide lessons of hope and courage, and show us how to become strong in our faith.

In this nine week Bible study discover the relevant, timeless lessons on experiencing a satisfying life from the women named in Jesus’ genealogy.

Tamar – lonely in marriage, used, and tossed aside

Rahab – trapped in a degrading life

Ruth – widowed and destitute

Bathsheba – beautiful and abused

Mary – innocent, slandered, and tested

Find strength and direction to face your personal challenges by learning:

- How to forgive, overcome temptation and fear.
- How to find hope and reject the world’s branding.
- How to recognize good character in selecting a mate.
- How to live a Better Life!

RSVP Ministries

God extends an invitation to each one of us to grow closer to Him. Like the ocean, no matter how deeply you’ve explored our infinite God, He is deeper still. He wants us to experience an abundant, fruitful daily life, and satisfying eternity. His invitation requires a response. A lack of response is the same as giving a “no.” For every day you don’t respond you miss a day of the adventure He has for you.

My knowledge of God and His word challenges me to continue to explore and learn and practice more. In my experience, growth isn’t a straight line. There are lessons that have to be learned anew at different stages of life. At 22 I thought I was completely trusting God. Maybe I was with the capacity I had then, but years later, with different challenges, I wondered if I was trusting very much at all. That too was a part of my journey of faith. Trusting with adventure and new challenges was fun and exciting, trusting with the mundane and routine was not.

RSVP Ministries is the umbrella for my writing, educating and speaking ministry. I want to always be inviting my audience, and reminding myself of God’s open armed invitation to a better life with Him. Below are some topics available. I am also open to crafting lectures for your group’s specific needs.

Blessings for a better life,
