Larry Wilson—Director and Counselor
While serving in youth ministry, Larry realized his real gifts and joy lay in counseling families and individuals. This led to seminary and an additional stint of training with Scope Ministries in Oklahoma City. In 1987, he and wife Debbie moved to the Triangle to begin a counseling and teaching ministry.
Larry received his M.A. in Counseling from Grace Theological Seminary in Indiana. He has a B.S. degree in marketing from Arizona State University. Larry has been involved in ministering to families since 1973 when he joined the staff of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) where he directed city teams and served on their national team.
He and Debbie served with Scope Ministries at Billy Graham’s conferences for itinerant evangelists, “Amsterdam ’86” and “Amsterdam 2000.” Larry enjoys all kinds of sports and cycles on the weekend. Even though he was raised in the west, he calls North Carolina home.
